Hon Zaharaddeen Babba Mazoji an elder statesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State has called on the former Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amechi to cease fire, grow up and stop the exchange of words which is uncalled for.

Mazoji pointed out that antagonizing each other will only make it harder for the two to understand concerns at stake.

He said, “As matured individuals, well known and also an elder statesman of our dear nation who serves our mother land in different capacity, we are not happy with what’s happening currently between Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman a former Chief of Staff Kaduna state Government, Managing Director Nigerian Ports Authority and currently a serving as Special assistant on Policy Coordination to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Rotimi Amechi once time Rivers State speaker House of Assembly, Executive Governor, Minister of Transport and a one time Presidential aspirant.”

Mazoji urged this two elders to respect themselves and cease fire so that they can focus on important issues that would help in developing our dear Nation.

“All what they are challenging themselves is something in the course of the services undertaken in their capacity. Nigerians are fully aware of what’s happening and honestly speaking people are not happy with the senerio between the two elders.

“Misunderstandings is common and often innocuous, yet they can create conflict. Perhaps someone misheard something you said or did, and now they are angry with you. Perhaps they heard your words correctly but comprehended them in a manner that did not align with your intent. Or perhaps they interpreted your silence in a way that was inconsistent with the message you wanted to send, regardless of their source, misunderstandings can damage relationships if they are not handled quickly.”

Mazoji appealed to them to think wisely in all the words exchange between them as this will give a chance of understanding that will lead to reconciliations of the differences and go ahead in contributing towards the developing our Nation which still is in need of their contributions.
