Lawmaker, Goro Raises N95 Million From Fonation

The lawmaker representing Fagge Federal constituency at the house of representatives, Aminu Suleiman Goro has raised N95 million from fundraising ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

The funds, according to the fundraising committee are meant to steer the campaign activities of the lawmaker for a successful, hitch free election campaign.

Speaking after the donation, Goro, while thanking all for the contributions said, the donation is a testimony of his unpreventable achievement and good representation while pledging to do more if reelected.

“We thank God almighty for showing us this day were out loved ones show care and deep concern. The people of Fagge have done something that clearly signifies they enjoyed our representation at the green chambers.

“With this, we are assuring the good people of our constituency that we are just starting. We shall do more in terms of developmental projects come next administration if we are re-elected.

“We appreciate all that contributed to our course collectively and those who are also giving out their quota through other means. God willing, we shall not betray this trust and we will never take it for granted.”

He called on the people of Fagge to come out and vote despite the situation as the electoral body has provided the necessary system that will ensure votes really count.

Very important persons at the fundraising inside the Kano deputy governorship candidate, Murtala Sule Garo who donated five million Naira, the Chief Launcher, Eng. Abubakar Isah donated the sum of 30 Million Naira and his Associates the sum of 8 Million Naira.

Hamisu Abba Sumaila donated 2 Million Naira, Hon. Lamin Sani 1 Million Naira, Chairman Hajj Market 2 Million Naira, Executive Chairman Fagge Local Government Area, Hon. Ibrahim Muhammadu Abdullahi Shehi one Million Naira, Ibrahim Danyaro one Million Naira, Danjuma Agege two Million Naira among other donors too numerous to mention.

Earlier, the Guest Speaker at the occasion Professor Kamilu Sani Fagge and all other well wishers from far and near that made the event thanked all and sundry who defy all odds to make the occasion eventful and colourful.
