Qur’an: Islamic School Graduates 50 Married Women In Kano

Ma’ahadu Zaujastir Rasul (S.A.W) Islamic school at a maiden ceremony has graduated 50 aged married women at Hotoro Danmarke area of Tarauni local government, Kano.

Speaking at the ceremony, the principal of the school, Mallam Usman Baffa Tarauni said, the idea of bringing the women together was hatched years ago in an effort to strengthen the power of acquiring religious knowledge among married women who are the backbone of societal development.

He said, the graduands, who are mostly bearing children have shown commitment over the years which gave them more courage to sustain the process despite challenges.

He admonish them on observing the righteous paths according to the teachings of the holy book reminding of the importance of frequent reading of the holy Qur’an in other to excel in this life and hereafter.

He prayed for everlasting peace while extending his appreciation to the teachers of the graduates who sacrifice their time and energy towards seeing that they achieve what they are supposed to as and at when due.

While all graduating students received certificate and a copy of the holy Quran, prominent personalities who have, and are contributing to the lots of the common people in the area were recognised and awarded certificates of recognition among whom is a veteran health practitioner, Hafsat Yusuf Machido for her untiring contribution to pregnant and nursing mothers over the years.
