College Community Health Students Holds 2021 Annual Competitions



The students of Community Health program from Aminu Dabo College of Health Sciences and Technology (AD-COHST 200 level) today at the College Multi-purpose Hall held its annual quiz, debate and paper presentation competitions.

High points of the colorful even graced by distinguished personalities, Heads of the Departments, special guests, invitees and the cream of the College community included presentation of Merit Certificates to the winners and participants.

The program Coordinator Mal Abdulwarith Adam lsa who first spoke on the competitions said the students were engaged in the three stages of the Program as part of strategies and sensitization for effective learning on community health sustainability in society.

Mal Abdulwarith further explained that the exercise was conducted as part of the co-curriculum activities, adding that with this initiative, many students would be interested in learning and practice.

He said five judges from academia and professionals have been invited to select the best group and individual participants that perform extraordinarily well among the competitors.

The Proprietor of the College, Arc (Dr) Aminu Dabo, in his message, expressed delight with the performance of the participants and congratulated all the participants for their spectacular performance, saying “it is worth commendation, keep the momentum going on”.

Arc Dabo’s message delivered by Pharm Mubarak Hussaini, however, advised students to take their academic seriously. Doing this, he said, would always make them stand the best out among their peers and put the College in the forefront of academic excellence.

He also commended the coordinator of the Program Mal Abdulwarith Adam lsa for creating an avenue for students to show “the stuff they are made of and what they are capable of doing when it comes to their field of studies.

The Proprietor expressed optimism that the effort would go a long way in encouraging students to be serious in their studies.
