By Khadija Muhammad Muhammad
I shed tears in empathy
As words dried on my lips
Sadness overwhelmed me
Burning tears sway down my cheeks
Yet, I thrive to smile.
How your voice’s rhyme pierce my heart
And like a song into my ear
Such a symphonic tone
Your words mend my broken heart.
And now I have no reason to smile
For the one I love
Has been dragged away in pain,
As sorrow fill my heart pushing me
In & out of this endless affairs.
Your thoughts crawl on my dream
Everytime I fall asleep I feel you
Wadding the gap between my veins.
